Artadia Council members are invited to learn about Minnesota Street Project’s Studio Program and explore the practice of three artists–Gregory Kaplowitz, Awardee Brion Nuda Rosch (San Francisco 2009), and Awardee Catherine Wagner (San Francisco 2007)–during a series of intimate studio visits.
Following the visits, members are invited to gather at Alta for a drink.
The Studio Program is a vital component of Minnesota Street Project’s model to directly support artists. Created to address rapidly diminishing opportunities in San Francisco, the program’s goal is to provide artists stability via affordable private studios situated within a campus environment. Additionally, they are dedicated to building a community of individuals committed to supporting one another through the use of shared space and resources.
