Artadia Sustaining Fund in honor of Carolyn Ramo

We are thrilled to launch the Artadia Sustaining Fund in honor of Carolyn Ramo, a new initiative that builds upon our longstanding commitment to supporting artists and strengthening their communities.

This fund will provide one-time no-strings-attached emergency microgrants open to our community of Awardees regardless of the nature of need, offering crucial financial assistance and ensuring that artists can continue to pursue their creative endeavors in the face of unforeseen challenges. This fund furthers our mission, bettering outcomes for individual artists who are essential to our society and culture at-large.

The Artadia Sustaining Fund is not only a testament to our unwavering dedication to the well-being of artists, but also a tribute to the remarkable impact of Carolyn Ramo, who served as Executive Director of Artadia for 11 years and was integral in the collaborative efforts of Artist Relief during the pandemic. Carolyn’s vision, passion, and leadership have left an indelible mark on our organization, shaping our values and guiding our efforts to empower artists and build a more just arts economy.
