How to Donate

Your tax-deductible gift directly funds 22 unrestricted grants, $15,000 each, annually given to visual artists in eight U.S. cities. These Artadia Awards elevate the careers of underrepresented artists at pivotal moments in their practice with critical, timely, and on-going structured support. Since 1999, Artadia has presented nearly 400 Artadia Awards.

Artadia passionately believes that artists are powerful storytellers and civic leaders who play an essential role in shaping a more just arts economy. To fully realize this vision, Artadia depends on the partnership of like-minded donors whose generosity helps to inspire others and increase the number of artists we serve.

One-time gifts of any amount make a difference. For annual gifts at the Artadia Council level, donors can engage in year-round exclusive experiences with a dynamic network of contemporary artists, curators, arts professionals, and art enthusiasts. This community – the “Artadia Council”, a group demonstrably dedicated to our mission – gains unparalleled insight and access to many of the most visionary artists of our times, the Artadia Awardees, who have been distinguished through our rigorous curatorial selection process. Programming includes intimate studio visits with current Awardees, enlightening conversations, behind the scenes exhibition tours, and social gatherings.
