Dawolu Jabari Anderson (b 1973, Houston, TX) attended Texas Southern University and The University of Houston and was a resident at Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in 2007.

His work has been exhibited at Project Row Houses, the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston, Blaffer Gallery, the University Museum at Texas Southern, and he participated in the 2006 Whitney Biennial: Day for Night. His work has been featured in The New York Times.
