Augusto Di Stefano, born in New York and currently residing in Houston, Texas, has been included in exhibitions at the Kemper Museum of Art, Dorsky Curatorial Program in Long Island City, Dallas Museum of Art, New Museum of Art (Altoids Curiously Strong Collection), and the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston. Granted a residency at Artspace in 2006, his work has been nominated for the MacArthur Fellows Program in 2010 and has been included in the book Mapping It Out: An Alternative Atlas of Contemporary Cartographies by Hans Ulrich Obrist (Thames & Hudson; 2014).
